She thought...

She thought she was going to chase a dream. Instead, she was sold.

As a young girl, Jade was promised an apprenticeship at a hair salon in Taipei, but when she arrived, the truth unfolded in a way no one should ever have to face: it was a brothel. Her own father had sold her to repay his gambling debts.

Decades passed in a life she did not choose. A life where her voice was taken, her story buried beneath survival. And yet, even there, she was not unseen.

Before she died, she had a dream in which Jesus came to her not as a distant figure, but as One who drew near like a gentle Father listening to His daughter’s cry.

“If I talk about my story, the tears will fall.
However, I found my Heavenly Father…” a Father who received her, listened to her, and brought a freedom that no one could take.

Even in the deepest place of suffering, she was still found.
